Talli- This Intricate form of Hand embroidery is practiced while sitting on the floor with a small round cushion using silver or gold thread crossing & weaving the threads. This is used to embellish the collars and cuffs of Women Traditional Dress

In Earlier days before the tailors, the women needed to learn the art & at times would work on Talli when their husbands left for pearl diving for longer days.
